Carlene I think everybody is really busy trying to set up their journals at Blogger. I know some of them have quit writing here completely. My last entry is going to be on the 13th. I plan to delete my own journal here a few days after that.
I found your journal on Blogger and added myself as a follower. I've been reading your journal for a long time and though I didn't comment often I sure didn't want to lose you.
All of this leaves you with an eerie feeling doesn't it?

Hi Carlene, I think we're still all around but so busy trying to get things straight in the new world. Eerie isn't it, sort of like a ghost town. I am trying to break my ties here so it won't be quite so hard when things disappear. I think that is really going to very hard to see even though we have a new place to live. Love ya, Chris

Hi, we're still reading and checking out the new blogs. I guess I'll have to make a google account to get alerts (or whatever they call them there). I may start a blog if I can come up with a name for one. I'll let you know if I do. Take care, Sheila
I think everyone just wanted to move on with blogger - why waste time on these journals unless you are backing them up - I get alerts for the blogs on blogger so my email has not slowed down that way....Have you found your way to my new blog on blogger yet? Let me know....
Also every since the announcement of aol closing websites and journals - the majority of peeps are experiencing trouble with aol - things are timing out and it seems that things are running very very slow...I think eventually aol is going to get rid of their software and just do all things on internet explorer or another browser - not have software anymore - because I think it is costing them money.

Many folks are probably like me....feel it is almost pointless to post in our AOL journals. And I am waiting for the official instructions on how to migrate before I move L & F. Most of my time online has been spent getting everyone's new blogger address added to my blogs to follow list. - Barbara

Well, I haven't completely abandoned ship, but I'm so darned busy trying to get the new place lively and maintain my other responsibilities ... it's maddening, a bit.

I'm here. I couldn't figure out how to get an alert on your Bend 2 but I found it by this entry. You ask me if I have a journal. No I stopped writing in mine but I need to find the time to start again. I am on myspace and I write in blogs there but not as often as I did in my journal. myspace is a fun place and it is easy to send messages and blog and keep up with friends and family. you may like to try it some time it's lots of fun too. when my page opens up look on the left side of the page in the first square, at the bottom of that square you will see where it says " view my pics " just click there.
